Getting started with Lifafa AI

Everything you need to go from zero to organized in under 10 minutes. No configuration required — AI is built in.

1. Create your account

Go to app.lifafaai.com or download the macOS app. Sign in with Google, Apple, Microsoft, or email — takes under a minute. Your account syncs automatically across all your devices the moment you log in.

2. Capture your first tasks

Tap the "Capture with AI" bar at the bottom of the app. Type anything — a brain dump, bullet points, or a pasted meeting transcript. Lifafa AI uses Claude (Anthropic) to extract every action item, assign priorities, estimate time, and detect deadlines automatically. No API key needed — AI is included.

3. Snap a photo

Tap the camera icon in the capture bar and take a photo of a whiteboard, handwritten notes, or a sticky note. Lifafa AI reads the image and extracts all action items the same way as text input. Works with printed documents and handwriting.

4. Connect Google Calendar Partial

Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar and authorize the connection. Tasks with due dates will automatically appear on your Google Calendar. Full two-way sync (calendar events creating tasks) is coming in the next release.

How AI capture works

When you capture content, Lifafa AI sends it to Claude (Anthropic's AI) along with a structured prompt. Claude identifies every action item in your input and returns them as structured tasks. Here's what it fills in automatically:

  • → Task title — a clear, action-oriented description of what needs to be done
  • → Priority — Urgent, High, Medium, or Low based on context and language signals
  • → Time estimate — how long the task is likely to take, based on its description
  • → Deadline — detected from date references in your input (e.g., "by Friday", "end of Q2")
  • → Owner — if the task belongs to someone else, it's flagged for the Delegated section
  • → Profile — Work or Personal, inferred from context (can be manually overridden)

Extracted tasks land in a review queue first. You approve, edit, or remove each one before it enters your task list. Nothing gets added without your confirmation.

Common questions
Do I need an API key to use the AI features?
No — AI is built into Lifafa AI. You don't need an Anthropic API key or any other credentials. Just sign up and start capturing. The AI (Claude by Anthropic) is included in your free plan.
How many AI captures do I get on the free plan?
During early access, all captures are free with no strict limit. When paid plans launch, the Free tier will include 10 AI captures per month. Pro ($15/mo) gets unlimited captures.
How does the Work / Personal profile separation work?
Every task belongs to either your Work or Personal profile. When you switch profiles, you see only that context's tasks. Both profiles share a single calendar view so you can avoid scheduling conflicts across work and life.
Is my data synced across devices?
Yes. Sign in with the same account on any device and your tasks, profiles, and settings sync automatically. All sync is protected by row-level security via Supabase.
Which platforms are available right now?
macOS and web (app.lifafaai.com) are live today. iOS and Android are in development and coming soon.
